John, we just
launched candidate recruitment efforts to find the next slate of
progressive primary challengers for Congress. But Nancy Pelosi and the
DCCC are looking for corporate Democrats to run too.

We know what kind of candidates Nancy Pelosi and the DCCC are recruiting:
People with connections to big donors and corporate interests. They
probably won’t support Medicare for All or a Green New Deal. They most
likely won’t fight for us.

We need to recruit strong progressive candidates for 2022 right away, so
we can help them build strong campaigns before Nancy Pelosi and the DCCC
get ahead of us for the next primaries.

Democratic primaries can be won early if Pelosi’s DCCC finds a corporate
Democrat who can raise unlimited sums of money. It can scare off the kinds
of candidates we really need in Congress. Progressives who will fight for
us. Activists. Community leaders.

It’s critical that we get our 2022 recruitment program started in a huge
way. It’s our only chance to overcome Wall Street, Big Pharma, the fossil
fuel industry, and other special interests ready to line up behind Nancy
Pelosi’s hand-selected candidates. We set a goal to raise $100,000 in the
first 72 hours of our launch, and exclusively grassroots donations put us
at $45,113 from 1,814 supporters so far. We can only hit our goal and move
closer to a progressive Democratic party with your help.
