Bad news: FreedomWorks (a branch of the GOP’s media machine) just launched a Twitter tirade against us.

They’re targeting us for a simple reason: they’re afraid of the power we’ve built together.

Groups like FreedomWorks believe that the government should only work for the wealthy, white elite. That’s why they’re scared of a movement like ours -- a movement of thousands of local groups, organizing in their own communities and fighting to give voices to people who’ve been ignored. They’ve seen what we can accomplish together, and they’re doing whatever they can to preserve their status quo. They hope that by attacking us, they can shut us down.
