I wanted to introduce myself -- I'm Laura, When We All Vote's Mobilization Director. I work with volunteers to ensure they have the resources and tools necessary to go out and help people in their communities get registered and ready to vote.

With one in five eligible voters not registered, we have a lot of work to do and your help is critical. There's no better person than you to help register people in your community.

This Tuesday, September 24, is National Voter Registration Day. It's a nationwide holiday where thousands of organizations and volunteers come together to make sure family, friends, and neighbors are registered to vote.

Before Tuesday, think about the people in your life who might need to register to vote. Maybe it's a new neighbor, someone who just turned 18, or a friend who doesn't know where to start. Then reach out to them this week by shooting them a text, email, Facebook message, Snap -- whatever way works best for you.

There are over 500 elections happening across the country, up and down the ballot in 2019 -- and yes, it's already time to get ready for elections next year. Help us build the grassroots movement to register every American.
