Dear Defender of Wildlife,

You probably already know that sea otters are adorable, intelligent and endlessly entertaining!

But did you know that they’re also a keystone species that helps balance marine ecosystems, and that they need our help?

Once hunted for their fur, sea otters are making a recovery thanks to federal protections. But today they still face danger from ships, trash, pollution and more.
