Free Pre-Recorded Sermon or Worship Service for Use on December 27
Looking for a biblically-based sermon in order to take a Sunday off following Christmas? Rev. Dr. Bruce Baxter, Southeast District Superintendent, has made his sermon, Finishing Well (2 Timothy 4:6-8, Philippians 1:20-21, Lamentations 3:22-23), available for use by churches in the Missouri Conference. The entire Southeast District has been encouraged by Rev. Baxter to take a Sunday morning off for rest and worship with their families by using this sermon for their church’s morning service. Bishop Farr encourages pastors in other districts who may need a Sunday off to consider doing the same. Churches have the option to download the sermon only or to use an entire worship service produced by La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
