Hau Mitakuyapi,
Today, dozens of groups representing millions of people across the country are launching a campaign to demand President-elect Joe Biden take bold executive action to end the era of fossil fuel production, protect communities reeling from the climate and COVID-19 crises, and #BuildBackFossilFree.
Here’s what you can do to join this exciting moment:
- Please amplify these important demands! Check out this partner toolkit for content and graphics to share on social, email, and other channels. You can also share our TWEET HERE!
- Join us! Fill out this form to join the campaign as a supporting partner.
buildbackfossilfree.org is a campaign hub to support strong grassroots pressure — taking lead from groups on the frontlines of climate change and fossil fuel production — pushing Biden to fulfill his campaign promises beginning Day One to:
- Protect and invest in the Black, Indigenous, Brown, and working-class communities that have borne the brunt of fossil fuel pollution and climate disasters.
- End the era of fossil fuel production, reject fossil fuel projects, and eliminate giveaways to oil, gas, and coal corporations
- Launch a national climate mobilization to Build Back Fossil Free, deliver jobs, justice, and opportunity for all.
In January, we’ll be hosting a campaign call to coordinate on a plan to ensure Biden leads as the climate president he promised to be. We’d love for you to join us, and we’ll follow with an invitation shortly.
Meanwhile, please check out http://buildbackfossilfree.org for more about the campaign, including the full list of policies we are demanding, a petition to Biden, and list of partners. And again, please help us amplify this launch, and fill out this form to join as a supporting partner!
In solidarity and power,
Dallas Goldtooth, IEN Keep it in the Ground Campaigner
