There's a reason Republicans like Palin want Americans to view Obama as a "purveyor of untruths" -- they don't want us to trust him. The GOP understands that if people start listening to Obama again, they might heed his warnings about voter suppression in Georgia. Americans may go to the polls to support the Democrats running for Senate on January 5 -- those Democrats might win, and then progressives could control both chambers of Congress and the White House next year.
