At the same time, our team has been working with many wealthy donors who have pledged to give to this work over the long haul. But we’re also hearing from folks who are struggling with analysis paralysis. So if you’re still wondering what you should do, here’s the simple answer: move as much money and resources as possible to the frontline-led work in the most impacted communities that have been providing the answers to the injustices we face for decades. Here are a few
ways to do that: - Think of the largest gift you’re comfortable making in a year, stretch it a little further, then commit to giving that much to Climate Justice Alliance and at least one of our members for the next three years.
- Leverage relationships you have in private foundations or corporations to influence them to cede stolen wealth and power to frontline communities.

This year we’ve seen CJA's supporters continue to stand in solidarity with the grassroots by resourcing their work, even in the face of a pandemic, racial justice uprisings, and climate catastrophes. The solutions that you’ve helped invest in are a big part of what has kept our communities going through everything. If you want to learn more about how some of our communities have been addressing the unprecedented challenges while making sure the process is just, equitable, and accountable – be sure to check out this year’s Story
Snapshots. Thank you for reflecting with us, thank you for your dedication, and thank you for being a part of this movement. With gratitude, CJA’s Philanthropic Organizing Committee Members Darryl Molina Sarmiento Aghilah Nadaraj Communities for a Better
