Decriminalizing marijuana at the federal level doesn't just make sense economically, it also works towards rectifying racial inequality and historic prejudices.

I'll be blunt: this bill should have been passed a while ago. It's just common sense and fair at this point.

But, while my colleagues and I passed this bipartisan bill in the House, the Senate's made it clear that they have no intention of making it law.
