We Need Your Support to Create an Equitable Wisconsin

We are all in different places with the pandemic, its effect on our health and on the economy, and how it has further exposed the dramatic racial disparities in our state and our nation.  We are also in different places  with our personal and internal work around equity, with our equity work within the organizations we are part of, and with all the spaces of our lives.  No matter what space you are in, we need you.  We need the voices of as many people as possible to ensure we can share a strong message for equity.  Our message of racial equity is supported through the work of Kids Forward’s policy analysis, collaboration, advocacy and more.  It is time for transformative change for equity in our state.   We know for sure that when Wisconsin does better for children and families of color, we do better for everyone in Wisconsin. 

We are planning for 2021 to be a year of change leading us to an equitable future.  We need your support as we advocate, collaborate, and analyze policy.  Together, we must demand transformative change to the structures and systems that disproportionately harm people of color and those furthest from opportunity.  Together, we can achieve our vision of a just and equitable state that works for every kid, every family, and every community.
