If we decide to pursue a lawsuit, we will let you know

Dear John,

AFA has won a major victory –– and I want to share it with you.

I mentioned this week that the credit card processing company we have been using decided to stop processing donations for American Family Association. This company's decision was abrupt and without warning.

We were facing the loss of tens of thousands of dollars –– during our most important donations month of the year!

The reason given was so outlandishly untrue that it was clear: This was religious discrimination of the most malicious sort.

We believe it was done because we are a Christian ministry and we take public stands on moral issues.

Moreover, after we found another company to handle our credit card processing, the company that cut us off refused to transfer the personal and credit card information to the new processing company.

After several communications from our attorney –– and after the prayers of many believers –– the processing company has finally agreed to transfer the necessary personal and credit card information. This is incredibly good news!

We are still considering taking legal action for the revenue we lost and for the manpower hours spent trying to fix this mess.

If we decide to pursue a lawsuit, we will let you know the name of the company that discriminated against AFA.

For now, we will be able to continue receiving support from our faithful donors –– and for that we are grateful to God.

Sincerely,

Tim Wildmon, President
