Today, I have the honor of sharing a special message from one of my personal heroes, and a donor to the Free State Project - Professor Walter Block.
After Professor Block first discovered libertarianism in the 1960's, he changed the course of history. As a philosopher, economist, and author, Professor Block has given so much to the cause of freedom. Even more, his gentle soul and giant smile can light up any room.
Now, as a generous man who's financially contributed to the Free State Project many times over the years, Professor Block has a special message for you. Enjoy!
As believers in liberty, when we think about the news and politics too much, sometimes it's easy for us to feel cynical. Throughout my life, the cause of liberty hasn't seen as many victories as I'd like to see. That is, until I started following the Free State Project in 2003.
I learned about a group of libertarians who decided to pick up their lives, move to a small state with a preexisting pro-liberty culture, and consolidate their efforts. With that strategy, they hoped to increase their impact and finally establish a foothold for those of us who embrace human freedom. Instantly, their ambitious plans filled me with hope.
Now, 17 years after choosing New Hampshire as the home of the Free State Project, victories for liberty have been racking up!
And that's why I donate to the Free State Project - because it works! If you feel the same, then this charity deserves your support, too.
In this season of giving, I hope you'll join me and donate to the Free State Project today.
In Liberty,
Walter
