You're invited to The People's Sing-A-Long!
Dear John,
As we enter 2021, we know our movements can and do win. Our time is now. Our joy and our community belong to us, to nurture, to relish in, as we rise up together. And as we continue to navigate COVID-19 and discover new and creative ways of being with each other, we have found that a good way to connect across distance and achieve a bit of restoration is through song.
This beautiful program will be hosted by TakeAction member, artist and movement leader, Signe Harriday. We will be led in song by TakeAction members and musicians, Kestrel Feiner-Homer and Sarina Partridge. We will also enjoy an incredible performance by the Resistance Revival Chorus, a collective of more than 60 women and non-binary singers who join together to breathe joy and song into the resistance, and whose music carried us through election season. After singing, it’s time to move! Enjoy our after-party dance space hosted by local DJ Shannon Blowtorch.
