Day 7: More Gun Laws

Hello,

California has some of the strictest firearm laws in the country. California is now requiring background checks to purchasing ammunition. But this being California, it wasn't enough for Democrats in the legislature.

Take our VETO Survey

Making the list on Day 7 of our Ten Days of Vetos, is AB 879

AB 879 would put burdensome regulations on purchasing firearm parts and accessories

This is not just about legal precursor parts that would be added to an already legal firearm. The Department of Justice is failing at its existing responsibilities with regard to firearms regulation. Focusing on eliminating backlog is a better use of the Department's resources than tracking transfers of firearms precursor parts.

Is this the worst bill the Democrat controlled Legislature has passed?
