NRDC Action Fund Activist,
Friday's Global Climate Strike was amazing. Strikers around the world — led by young people — took to the streets to send a message that President Trump and his climate-denying allies can't ignore: We DEMAND bold, immediate action to fight climate change.
The strike might be over, but we know that our work is just getting started. So here are three quick steps that you can take to build on what we've begun, and keep up the momentum for bold climate action:
1. Confirm your voter registration
If we're going to turn the passion from the climate strikes into real, measurable progress, then we need to defeat President Trump and his anti-environment allies in the 2020 elections — and send more climate champions to Congress. And that can't happen unless we all do our part and VOTE.
National Voter Registration Day is in just a few days, so take a minute today to confirm your registration at the link above. Even if you think you're registered, please double check — you do not want to get caught by surprise on Election Day.
As long as you're 18 years old by Election Day 2020 you will be able to vote in the national election, but registration deadlines and age requirements vary by state, so be sure to check your eligibility. And if you're under 18, there are still way to help get out the vote, like participating in a voter registration drive — so keep an eye out for opportunities in your area!
2. Pledge to go All In for Climate Action
Whether it's a major mobilization like the Climate Strikes, targeted pressure like legislator visits, or high-impact opportunities like get-out-the-vote efforts, All In for Climate Action alerts advocates like you when your voice is needed most, and when you can make the biggest difference in the fight against climate change.
Make sure you're ready for the next big moment: Pledge to go All In for Climate Action, and officially join the fight for our planet's future.
3. Donate to the NRDC Action Fund
If you're ready to go even further to fight for bold climate action, consider becoming a member by making a donation to the NRDC Action Fund. We'll put your gift straight to work mobilizing massive grassroots support for climate action, supporting pro-environment candidates in key races, and pressuring lawmakers across the country to pass policies that will make a real difference in combating the climate crisis.
Thanks again for everything that you're doing in the fight for a better future for all of us. Your passion, your voice, and your action matter so much — and with people like you on our side, no one can stop us.
Sincerely,

Mitch Bernard
