Leaders in both parties say they are closing in on a pandemic relief bill
-- but one thing must be made clear. No DIRECT PAYMENTS, no deal.

to individuals and families.

Mitch McConnell and Republicans in the Senate have delayed needed relief
for months so employers can force workers to risk their lives in unsafe
conditions with no consequences.

NOBODY should be talking about liability protections for corporations when
our priority should be working families.

The situation across the country is tragic. People are stealing food,
formula, and other necessities just to survive during this crisis.

This is a once-in-a-century crisis and we need to treat it like one. We
can’t waste anymore time. We need to give people the relief they need to
put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads now.
