A stressed mum needs your help

Good evening,

This time of year is supposed to be a happy time. But for many families, it’s the most difficult time of all.

There are families stressing about where their baby will sleep tonight. Families without a spare pair of underwear or a clean set of clothes. Others with no safe way to get their kids to and from the supermarket in the car or by foot.

We are closing our doors for the year soon.

But we can’t yet because we have 10 babies to help before 25 December.

One of the babies waiting for support is due on Saturday. Their soon-to-be mum is feeling very anxious. Not only is she about to give birth but she was forced to pack and move house last week. Her financial stress has been unbearable at times due to the pandemic.

She’s asked for 17 items including a safe place for her newborn to sleep, a car seat, pram, nappies and toiletries. She also has a two year old who has gone without a lot of things this year. She needs clothes, shoes, linen, toys and books.

Can you please show this family that they have your support by donating today?

We need to act quickly so they can set everything up prior to the baby’s arrival.

For some of the families on our waiting list, the gift we are hoping to provide may be the only one they receive this year.

Our last urgent orders are being picked up by social workers, ready to distribute as late as Wednesday afternoon so there is still time to help.
