These maps show how much to snow to expect
in major winter storm
A significant storm is expected Wednesday night and continuing into Thursday, bringing a foot of snow to Boston and as much as 18 inches in other parts of the state.

A winter storm warning is in effect across Massachusetts, except for the islands, until Thursday at 1 p.m. Up to a foot of snow is expected in Boston and eastern Massachusetts communities, while central parts of the state could see between 14 and 17 inches. The east slope of the Berkshires, could see up to 18 inches of snow, forecasters said.
