Friend, the American people made their voices heard last month in record numbers. Every state has certified its results and allegations of election fraud have been widely debunked by the press and in the courts.

Yet Donald Trump continues to refuse to acknowledge the reality that he lost -- and far too many Republicans have played along with his conspiracy theories.

Last week, the GOP Attorney General of Texas filed a baseless lawsuit asking the Supreme Court to throw out millions of legally cast ballots in four key states, which would overturn the results and install Trump for a second term.

Disturbingly, the Republican attorneys general of 17 other states joined this lawsuit. As of today, 126 of my Republican colleagues in the House (including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy) have signed on to an amicus brief in favor of the lawsuit.

The Supreme Court decisively dismissed the case, and the Electoral College on Monday affirmed that Joe Biden is the president-elect of the United States. But I'm frankly horrified that so many elected officials publicly endorsed an effort -- an effort they know has zero basis in fact or in the law -- to subvert our democratic process and ignore the clear will of the people.

This is an incredibly dangerous moment for our country. We can't function when many in one party simply refuse to accept the results of a free and fair election.

Right now, the most important thing we can do is show that the GOP's extremism has an electoral price. And we do that by winning the Georgia Senate races on January 5.

Please donate anything you can to help elect Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. Their victories will flip the Senate and greatly stem the tide of Republican obstructionism.
