John -- thankfully, we have some good news out of Georgia. Our team has safely knocked on thousands of doors and we crunched the returns from absentee and early vote numbers. Here's what we know right now:
-
Likely Democratic voters comprise over 47% of all votes cast so far in the runoff, compared with just about 44% for likely Republicans.
-
Voters are more comfortable with voting absentee than before November's general election. That's good news since voting from home is safe and accessible, making it more likely people will cast their ballots.
-
What's not good: Republicans are returning their absentee ballots at a slightly higher rate than Democrats. Every vote matters in a close election like this and we must boost returns among Democratic voters.
Now is the time to give if you care about winning two Senate seats and demoting Mitch McConnell.
Thanks,
