Dear Friend,
I wanted to take a moment to wish you and your family a happy holiday season!

I know this year’s holiday season is difficult. I hold in my heart all of the wonderful people we lost this year, who I so deeply wish could be here to celebrate with us.
With this sad backdrop, it's important to look ahead with hope, and to give thanks for the blessings we have.
Let's give thanks for the frontline workers who have risked their own health to save countless lives. Let's give thanks to the teachers who had to learn a whole new set of skills to teach their students virtually. Let's give thanks to the countless restaurant workers, public transport workers, and service employees who kept our country going. And I’m thankful to all of you who made sacrifices to keep each other safe.
I’m incredibly grateful to all of you. I think of you as my "team." Despite the challenges, you stepped up and helped us win one of the most competitive elections in the country. Our campaign was integral in keeping the House blue and helping Joe Biden win the Presidency.
We have a lot to accomplish in the coming months. I will continue to work with my colleagues in Congress, on both sides of the aisle, to pass legislation that will bring relief to our communities as the pandemic continues. Bipartisanship is going to be more important than ever, with the very narrow majority we currently hold. But do not fear: our progressive principles for the people will endure, and will be at the core of everything we do.
I recently introduced bipartisan legislation to lower prescription drug costs for children. I have been working to make sure Social Security recipients have unhindered access to the services they rely on. And I am continuing to do all I can to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our communities get the support they need to get through this.
I wish you and your loved ones a safe and happy holiday season, and hopefully, a much better 2021. And I look forward to continuing our work together through the new year.
Sincerely,
Susan Wild
