Hi there,

If even one pair of Republicans from the House and Senate challenge any one of the 50 states' ballots on January 6, both chambers have to meet separately for a vote.

Democrats control the House. But Republicans control the Senate -- which gives them the power to run out the clock on confirming Biden's victory just like they've been running out the clock on progressive legislation during Trump's entire term.

If that happens we could be left with, as one Hill op-ed states: "An empty presidency at noon on Jan. 20, with Trump tweeting that it should remain his, Democrats saying Pelosi or Biden and some Republicans secretly hoping it's Pence. And if you're thinking that the Supreme Court would save Biden, think again."

We can't have the GOP trying to keep Biden out of the White House through gridlock -- but we know it's how they respond to everything, so we won't put it past them here. That's why, with January 6 still ahead of us, we're reaching out to every American we can. Will you help us send our elected officials a clear message: That they must acknowledge Biden's win, immediately, or they will lose their jobs at our very next opportunity. Stand with us now by affirming:

Should every Republican acknowledge Trump's loss?
