Today, the House rejected Governor Baker’s anti-choice amendment. Just moments ago, House Democrats took a historic step toward protecting reproductive healthcare, by overriding the Governor's attempt to block these protections.
Let me be clear: this is what we can expect from the Baker-Polito administration. They’ve got a record of aligning themselves with anti-choice radicals and this is a page straight out of their Republican Party’s playbook.
We can’t trust Baker and Polito to stand up for reproductive freedom if they’re buying in to GOP talking points. We need to take back the Governor’s office in 2022, and we need to start working right now.
