Public pressure is building for lawmakers to approve additional COVID-19 and economic relief before the end of the Congressional session this week.

We’re doing everything we can to advocate for this relief to contain a 15% increase in funding for SNAP (formerly called Food Stamps). To do so, we are:
* Mobilizing physicians to contact their member of Congress
* Generating calls and emails to Capitol Hill congressional offices from volunteers and the public
* Highlighting these issues in the national, regional, and local media
* Meeting with elected officials and their staffs
* Empowering members of our Food Action Board to speak at virtual press conferences
