On March 4, 2020, the Center for Reproductive Rights argued their
landmark case, June Medical Services v. Russo, before the U.S. Supreme
Court challenging a deceptive Louisiana law designed to eliminate
access to abortion care in the state.
That day, as I stood on the steps of the Court, surrounded by Center
staff and fellow supporters and advocates like you fiercely fighting
to protect our rights, I was energized. That energy stuck with me
through the summer when the Center won their case and the Court struck
down this unconstitutional law!

I'm proud to be a long-time supporter of the Center for Reproductive
Rights. But since I started working with the Center in 2012, the
attacks on reproductive rights have only intensified-especially
over the past few years. Anti-abortion lawmakers are putting politics
before our health and they're passing unconstitutional laws that take
away our reproductive rights.
It's 2020, and I am tired of having to ask for permission to have
autonomy over my life. Everyone deserves the dignity of knowing we are
wise enough to make our own decisions about our own lives.
The Center for Reproductive Rights is actively litigating more than 30
cases in states across the country to protect our rights-and one
is already at the Supreme Court's doorstep. The Center needs our help
to continue this vital work.
