Free and Fair Elections 🇺🇸

This week I introduced a resolution which calls on House Republicans to support President Trump’s legal efforts to count every legal vote in the 2020 presidential election. The American people have legitimate concerns on whether these voter irregularities have merit or not. 

Therefore, no Republican should prematurely ask President Trump to concede until the investigations are over. We cannot turn a blind eye to the many written affidavits filed to the courts. I also proudly joined the Congressional amicus brief for Texas v. Pennsylvania, a historic fight to safeguard the integrity of our election process.

WV Welcomes National Guard Base ✈️

After a competitive nationwide selection process, West Virginia’s 130th Airlift Wing was chosen to receive eight new C-130J cargo planes. I was glad to make the case for this along with my colleagues. U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito and I are excited for this great opportunity for our state. These new planes will give the West Virginia Air National Guard greater capability to keep our state and nation safe.

Breath in that Clean WV Air 💨 

The EPA announced they will keep the existing National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). This rule is a big win for West Virginia because it successfully balances the need for a cleaner environment with continued economic development. Under the leadership of President Trump, America has cleaner air and is energy independent, with West Virginia serving as the backbone for our nation's energy production.

Holiday Season has Begun! 🌲

The White House Annual Christmas tree arrived from our very own state, the beautiful West Virginia. Daniel and Anne Taylor are the proud growers of the 18-and-a-half foot tall Fraser Fir from their farm in Kearneysville, West Virginia. They had the great honor of presenting their tree to First Lady Melania Trump.
