It's Kate -- Elaine's Finance Director. My whole job is making sure that we have the resources to defend this battleground seat in 2022, which means starting EARLY and making sure we hit every single one of our monthly benchmarks.

It took millions to flip VA-02 in 2018 and defend it in 2020 -- and while the national Republicans seeking to take back this seat in 2022 have access to a fundraising machine powered by dark money and ultra-wealthy donors, we're rebuilding our war chest from scratch.
