Hi John:
Senator Durbin said I could reach out about the Senate runoff election.
I have advanced to a runoff in Georgia on January 5 that will likely determine the control of the U.S. Senate -- and the fate of our democracy.
I'd like to explain why I'm running -- and why I need your support to win this crucial race in 20 days.
We have come so far, but we have much more work to do. I am running to become Georgia's first-ever Black Senator and continue my lifelong advocacy for affordable health care, fair wages, and voting rights.
Georgians are sick and tired of the failure and incompetence of the current Senate majority agenda on human rights -- this is our last shot to change it.
I know firsthand what it's like to feel real struggle. Growing up in Savannah, Georgia, with 11 brothers and sisters, we were short on money but never short on faith. It was my faith that led me to where I am today, with a college degree, Ph.D., and the Senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Fight like your life depends on it -- because it does.
Let's win this,
Raphael Warnock
