John,

Earlier this week, the Electoral College voted to certify the election
results for President-elect Joe Biden. Mission accomplished!

But before the Electoral College met, 126 Republican members of Congress
joined Donald Trump’s lawsuit to throw out the election results in four
battleground states and swing the election to Trump.

[ [link removed] ]It is beyond outrageous that over one hundred members of Congress would
move to throw out the results of a legitimate democratic election. Add
your name to our petition calling for Speaker Nancy Pelosi to REFUSE to
seat members who joined Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the election >>

As Democratic Congressman Bill Pascrell pointed out in his letter to
Pelosi, the 14th Amendment bars anyone who participates in rebellion or
insurrection from serving in elected office. And Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
agrees:

We can’t allow this attempt to overturn a democratic election go
unchecked. These members are unfit to serve, and they must be held
accountable:

Thank you for adding your voice to this fight. While we have defeated
Donald Trump, we have our work cut out for us to fight Trumpism in all its
forms. We can start by holding those who have tried to overturn a
democratic election accountable for their actions.
