Friend,

These winter months are going to be tough for all of us, but for children who are caught in the cold -- escaping violent conflicts, on the move or living in makeshift shelters -- it can be deadly.

Freezing winter weather will only bring more hardship to kids, especially those affected by crises in places in Syria.

While so much of our focus has had to be on COVID-19, we can’t forget the simple fact: children are being left out in the cold. We’re facing a serious funding gap for winter, Friend, and we need all hands on deck. Please, rush your donation to our winter drive to help children and toddlers survive through the holidays >>

If children having to endure a violent conflict situation wasn’t enough of an injustice, Friend, now poverty and other crises are forcing families out of their homes and into the cold in a pandemic. This is not right and together, we won’t stop helping kids this winter. We have to send aid.

UNICEF staff on the ground are working tirelessly to get the most vital winter supplies to the children most at-risk. Children’s needs are most urgent in crisis hotspots like Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Europe’s refugee hotspots, such as Ukraine -- but we have a funding shortfall.

We’re aiming to hit $200,000 by Friday at midnight. Can we count on your gift to keep children safe and warm this winter?
