John,

2021 is going to be a big year. The year when we undo the damage of the Trump administration, make change and build a future that’s in line with our values.

We‘re ready to be relentless in the fight to roll back attacks on survivors’ rights and abortion access, and to make sure women on the front lines in low-paid jobs get meaningful COVID relief. And we need you with us.

I’m coming to you today to ask you to support our work for 2021 and beyond with a $ [[link removed]] 10 monthly donation to the Law Center. [[link removed]] Thanks to a matching gift from a generous group of donors, right now every new monthly gift will generate an additional $50 donation to the Law Center, up to $150,000!

Help undo the damage of the past four years and start building the future we want to see. [[link removed]]

Monthly gifts help power the Law Center’s mission. Your reliable support helps us plan further in advance because we know what resources will be available in the weeks and months ahead—it’s one of the most convenient and effective ways to support our work.

As we head into 2021, we’re still facing a pandemic that is disproportionately affecting women, especially Black women and Latinas in low-wage jobs, who are risking their lives to try and make ends meet in a declining economy. The COVID crisis has pulled back the curtain on just how dependent our economy is on the labor of women of color, and how much that labor is simultaneously devalued. Your monthly support will help us fight for real COVID relief in state legislatures and the chambers of Congress, in our online communities and in the streets. [[link removed]]

In 2021, legal abortion is on the line, with a new majority-conservative Supreme Court. We’ll be at the center of the fights to keep abortion legal. But we also know that legality is not enough. We’re fighting for a future where everyone has the ability to get abortion care when they need it. No matter where they live, or who they are, or how much money they make. It’s going to take everything we’ve got to safeguard abortion access and rights in America.

Right now, a group of donors is offering to donate an extra $50 to the Law Center for every supporter who starts a new monthly gift, up to $150,000. Your $ [[link removed]] 10 tax-deductible monthly gift will help the Law Center take the fight for reproductive freedom everywhere it needs to be—in the courts, in legislatures, and in grassroots communities. A monthly donation is the best way to financially support the Law Center—if you can, please consider starting a monthly gift now so that we can count on your support throughout 2021. [[link removed]] There is so much to do, and we need your help.

Thank you in advance for your commitment to gender justice.
Sincerely,
Gretchen Borchelt
