The Social Security Administration is spending the waning days of the Trump administration jamming through regulations to make it harder for Americans to access our earned benefits, make it harder for people to keep the benefits they’re already receiving, and generally undermine our Social Security system. Two unions who represent SSA workers took the rare step of giving a vote of no confidence to SSA’s current Commissioner!

But this isn’t just happening at SSA―it’s happening all over the government! Trump appointees tasked with undermining the agencies they run are doing the same thing all over―and many of them will stick around even after Trump is out of office!

Tell President-elect Biden: America can’t afford to allow Trump loyalists to undermine the public interest. Fire every Trump appointee who doesn’t resign by January 20th.

The corruption and incompetence of Trump’s appointees is already legendary. Could you name the GSA administrator before Emily Murphy refused to allow the transition to begin? What about the Postmaster General before Louis DeJoy slowed down the mail?

These positions are traditionally non-partisan and, thus, aren’t subject to the normal cycle of political appointees as cabinet-level heads. But Trump’s appointees are so corrupt, and so incompetent, that America requires a serious housecleaning.

Tell President-elect Biden: It’s not enough to just fire Trump’s loyalists at SSA. We need to clean house everywhere!
