This is Christian Kennedy here with some recent updates and upcoming meetings for members of Berkshires DSA.
Firstly, we want to thank members of Berkshires DSA and our community partners for collaborating with and helping to organize our Bread and Roses Food Drive we held on Saturday, December 12.
Your efforts facilitated direct food support to more than 120 individuals and family groups facing hunger in Berkshire County. Thank you so much for your efforts. Abigail and Kristie have already begun discussing with volunteers on the Bread and Roses Slack Channel what the next steps should be going forward-we hope to see you at our general meeting Thursday, December 17th at 7 PM.

Finally, we would like to remind our members that our December general meeting is occurring this Thursday, December 17th at 7 PM. As previously mentioned, there will be a rundown of next steps/how to move forward with direct action and mutual aid in the wake of our Bread and Roses Food Drive; we will also be hosting a speaker from the Boston DSA sponsored Act on Mass Transparency Campaign, as well as holding elections for co-chair and discussing next steps for other campaigns such as Medicare for All and Green New Deal/Ecosocialism. If you haven't submitted nominations for co-chair and would like to do so, feel free to submit your nomination for a candidate at <insert email address here>.
