Those were House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's remarks advocating for the For the People Act (H.R. 1) just days before it passed. Almost two years ago.

That's how long the Senate has refused to pass this bill -- legislation that would outlaw gerrymandering and make our governments work for the people and not the special interests.
