We still have an opportunity to change the balance of power in the Senate and pass legislation that will reform redistricting at the federal level.

If we can elect Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock in January, Democrats will control the White House, House, and Senate and be able to pass the legislation we sorely need, including the bill that will restore our democracy -- H.R.1. As a reminder, H.R.1 would:

• Reform redistricting in federal elections;
• Reaffirm a commitment to restore the Voting Rights Act, parts of which the Supreme Court dismantled in 2013;
• Prohibit voter roll purges, which Republicans have used as voter suppression tools in states like Georgia and Ohio;
• Create an automatic voter registration system;
• Enable public financing of campaigns;
• Require the president to disclose their tax returns;
• And more!

Friend, H.R.1 is exactly what we need after four years of Donald Trump. But first, we need to win these Senate elections in Georgia.
