Dear Evidence Action Supporter,

Can you imagine not having access to clean water or soap to wash your hands during this pandemic? Worldwide, one in three people lack access to safe drinking water and two in five to a basic handwashing facility.

in our communities to deliver soap, safe water, and hygiene messaging while ensuring safe water access was not interrupted. Our teams worked around the clock - navigating transport restrictions, heavy rains, and maintaining health guidelines.

We also called upon over 54,000 local volunteers—who are a critical part of our Dispensers of Safe Water program—to help protect their communities from the virus. Between March and July, our circuit riders and these volunteers helped us deliver over 924,000 liters of chlorine for treating drinking water; over 3 million kilograms of soap for handwashing; over 99,000 liters of disinfectant; and nearly 44,000 informational stickers to promote good hygiene practices.

Today, we are focused on repairing and replacing dispensers and replenishing chlorine stocks, delivering approximately 500,000 liters of chlorine—enough to provide safe water access to our entire footprint of 4 million people through the end of January 2021.

Join us in providing access to clean water for those that need it most. Your investment today will translate into health and life improvements for millions tomorrow!

Onward Together,
