It’s robbing children in California of the hope and spirit that Santa Claus brings each Christmas.

This isn’t some storyline. It’s the reality of life under strangling regulations like California’s job-killing law, AB5, which forces businesses to classify all workers as employees. Well, that doesn’t work for everyone, especially seasonal employees like Santa.

Rather than posing for pictures and giving innocent children some semblance of hope in an otherwise demoralizing year, Santa performers are out of work.
