Dear friend,
We wanted to invite you to a very special live event happening
tomorrow, December 16, at 7 pm ET.
The Center's own Breana Lipscomb, Senior Manager of the U.S. Maternal
Health & Rights Initiative, will discuss the maternal health
crisis in the United States in a virtual reproductive rights workshop
hosted by The Meteor Fund. Breana, who has been honored for her work
on maternal health, helps lead the Center's efforts to promote
the human rights of pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people in the
United States.
The free workshop, Maternal Health: Justice for Mothers in 2021, will
also feature Marinah V. Farrell of Changing Woman Initiative, a Native
American centered health and justice organization, and Jamia Wilson, a
feminist activist, writer and speaker. Learn more about tomorrow's
workshop and register here.
