The electoral college’s certification of Biden’s presidential win may formally decide the election, but like everything else in 2020, the political maneuvering is not over. The incoming administration is forming and policy priorities are taking shape. Meanwhile, a second coronavirus relief package is being hotly debated by lawmakers in Washington. We are seeing a surge of lobbying — and plenty more to come — by industries large and small clamoring to influence the outcomes.
