The American people made their choice on Election Day, a choice that was just affirmed by the Electoral College, whose members did the right thing by following their state’s popular vote.

Now it’s on to Congress for the next step of the process. On January 6, 2021, after the new Congress is sworn in, the House and Senate meet together to count the electoral votes. This is procedural — but some members who support President Trump are planning to raise bogus objections about the result, even though the outcome is clear and the election was secure, free, and fair.

Your members of Congress need to hear from you! Tell them they must not deny the will of the people on January 6. Click here to find and contact your members of Congress and demand they respect America’s choice for president and vice president.

We can’t allow members of Congress to overturn the will of the people. These attempts to further discredit our election process are harmful to our democracy and just plain wrong.

Tell your members of Congress to respect the outcome of the election and affirm the people’s will when they count electoral votes on January 6.
