I never envisioned running for office. I’m not doing this to push an agenda or to grab at my chance to be in the limelight.

I ran for Congress because Coastal Virginians needed someone who would fight to break through the noise of partisan division to speak up on behalf of them and their loved ones.

I ran for Congress because I wanted to tell my daughter that I stepped forward when my country needed me.

We’re facing enormous challenges, and I’m committed to using my platform to ensure our government puts hardworking Virginians first as we work to get our country back on track.
