With less than three weeks until the January runoff election, we need all-hands-on-deck to make sure that voters in Georgia have a plan to vote! And with early voting now underway across the state, contacting every voter is critically important.
Many of us are familiar with the history of voter suppression in Georgia and the effects it had on the outcome of the 2018 election. Millions of voters, predominantly from Black and Brown communities, were purged from the voter rolls over the course of several years in a deliberate effort to decrease voter turnout.
That is why this Wednesday we will be phone-banking voters across the state so that they know of the options available to them to cast their ballot for this unique and extremely important election.
Can’t attend for the full three hours? No problem!
Together with your help, we can ensure that every person is able to fully participate in our democracy.
