When Lisa Higgins-Hussman's son John Patrick (JP) was diagnosed with autism at 18 months old, understanding of autism was limited and access to care was often hard to come by. Relentlessly pursuing the support he needed to thrive, JP's family was eventually able to access personalized therapies, developmental trainings and life skill supports that are empowering him to reach milestones they were told he'd never achieve. Unfortunately, obstacles to receiving crucial support are far too common, for far too many families.



Today, in honor of people like JP and so many others, The Lisa Higgins-Hussman Foundation is generously matching all donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to $40,000.
