John,

Today is the last day to enroll in a health care plan for next year! If you haven't already, you have until midnight tonight to visit healthcare.gov or cuidadodesalud.gov to ensure that you and your loved ones have coverage that starts on January 1, 2021.

If this year has shown us anything, it's just how important our health and safety is. The best gift we can give our family and friends this holiday season is to make sure they have the coverage that they need for the coming year.

Time is running out, so don't wait a minute longer. Go to healthcare.gov right now and, in just minutes, sign up for a plan that works for you and your budget. If you already did, then please text five friends to remind them to do so!

If we look out for each other, we can all have a safer, healthier new year.

Stay safe,

Tom

John,

Time is running out! There is only one week left to ensure that you and your loved ones have the health care you need to stay healthy and safe in 2021. If you haven’t already, please visit healthcare.gov or choosehealthde.com today to explore your options and find a plan that visits your unique needs and budget. Materials are also available in Spanish at Cuidadodesalud.gov.

In the First State, premiums are down for the second year in a row! And 8 out of 10 Delawareans qualify for financial help to cover the cost of their premiums and deductibles. Also, if you or a Delawarean you know needs some extra help enrolling in a plan, free in-person assistance is available. Trained specialists at Westside Family Healthcare and certified counselors at Henrietta Johnson Medical Center in Wilmington and La Red Health Center in Georgetown are standing by to help residents find a plan that works for them and navigate the enrollment process.

This has undoubtedly been a tough year for all Americans, but we have all seen just how important it is to prioritize our health and the health of our fellow citizens. It’s more critical than ever that we make sure that our friends, family and even strangers have the protection they need heading in the New Year.

Tuesday, December 15th – exactly one week from today – is the very last day to enroll in a health care plan that begins on January 1, 2021. Can you please take the time to forward this to five friends to make sure that they have the coverage that they need? It’s really the best holiday gift that we can give those we love.

But don’t forget – simple steps like wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and staying home whenever possible are still the most effective things we can all do to stay healthy, keep each other safe and save lives this winter.

Stay safe,

Tom
