The skills landscape is complex, and it?s often difficult to know how to access the right training and support for your business.
The D2N2 Skills Access Hub understands this and aims to be a ?one stop shop? for local businesses wishing to close skills gaps through training, recruitment, apprenticeships and placements.
Our partners offer a wide range of training courses, covering most sectors. Many of the courses can be tailored to meet business needs, such as how and when they?re delivered, what topics are covered and to what level, to ensure training is accessible and focused on developing the right skills for the business.
Our skills advisers will work with you to explore the most suitable training courses to close skills gaps, and will take into account your circumstances and future ambitions.

The Electric Van Experience (EVE)
Businesses are invited to trial a range of electric vans following the launch of a new initiative.?Around 50 vans will be available for any size of business, public or voluntary organisation operating in the city to try for up to three months as part of the Electric Van Experience.
Funded by Highways England and delivered as part of Nottingham City Council?s Workplace Travel Service, EVE will enable businesses to see how making the switch to electric vans could be the right move financially and environmentally.

Since its launch, the Workplace Travel Service has experienced a high demand for the service. We currently have a waiting list for participants and are working hard to provide loans as rapidly as we can with the 50 vehicles available.
This service can only extend to businesses within the administrative boundary of Nottingham City. It cannot at this stage provide the service to business outside the City in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire.
