"126 House Republicans Are Trying to Undermine Our Democracy" -- Rolling Stone, 12/11/2020

Join our fight to restore democracy » [link removed]

More than half of House Republicans signed onto a legal document asking the Supreme Court to support Trump's feckless election lawsuit and reject certified election results from Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, and my home state Pennsylvania. Yes, a majority of House Republicans asked the highest court in the land to help them put their party's power over the will of the voters.

Trump and his enablers in Congress are unashamed in their pursuit to simply drown out the will of voters -- not surprising since a majority of the signers hail from gerrymandered states.

126 House Republicans are on the record saying they are willing to undermine democracy and disenfranchise voters. We need to end gerrymandering so that elected officials like these can be held accountable at the ballot box.

Will you add your name to our pledge to end gerrymandering?

The Supreme Court already dismissed this lawsuit because the state of Texas lacked standing to bring the case. But the fact that it gained so much support from elected officials is still incredibly concerning.

I watched Pennsylvanians overcome so many obstacles to make their voices heard -- conservatives in the state legislature, whose power was cemented by gerrymandering, continuously created barriers to voting and then challenged results after Election Day. Now, elected officials from gerrymandered districts outside of my state are trying to silence Pennsylvania voters? We must end gerrymandering if we want to protect the integrity of our elections.

Add your name if you pledge to do your part -- by volunteering, donating, or holding map drawers accountable -- to end gerrymandering in 2021.

Partisan politicians who are brazen in their attempts to overturn democratic election results are a symptom of the unfair elections and polarization that have stemmed from gerrymandering. Trump and the 126 Republicans standing with him have made it clear to us: achieving fair maps next year is essential to putting an end to their hyper-partisan politics and make sure every person's vote counts.

The AOTL movement is fighting in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, and states across the country. Let us know that you're in this fight by signing our pledge to end gerrymandering.

Together we're going to achieve fair maps so everyone in this country gets a fair shake in our political system.

I believe we can make it happen,

AOTL Pennsylvania State Director
