I wanted to take a moment to formally introduce you to David Toland, the newest Lieutenant Governor of Kansas. Replacing Lynn Rogers in the Lt. Governor's office is a tall order, but I am confident David will thrive in his new role.

David currently serves as Secretary for the Kansas Department of Commerce. As Commerce Secretary, David is committed to economic development and business recruitment. He hears and understands what companies need to prosper and works with them to make it happen -- something we need if we're going to focus on rebuilding Kansas' economy.
