As you might have seen, I joined 120 other House Republicans and 18 Attorneys General challenging the way some states handled ballot counting. I did this because the Texas case raised serious constitutional concerns and I will always stand up for the United States Constitution and our election process. During my 20+ years in the US Army special forces I was willing to die for our republic.
If the Orlando Sentinel wants to take away their endorsement and join the left in personal attacks vs substantive debates, that’s fine by me. Our democracy provides for the ability to challenge the results of an election if there is suspicion of wrongdoing in a court of law - unlike places I’ve served in Africa and Afghanistan.
EVERY American, regardless of party, should want these issues resolved to maintain confidence in our elections and allow the country to move forward. Sincerely,
