Advocating for a Bipartisan Drug Pricing Solution
Earlier this year, I was proud to join every single Republican and Democrat on the House Energy & Commerce Committee in voting for a package of bipartisan bills to address unreasonably high drug prices throughout the country. Unfortunately, we learned this week that Speaker Pelosi is ignoring these bills, and instead choosing to bring a partisan drug pricing bill to the House floor.

Talking USMCA's Benefits for Louisiana
Greg Bowser, President of Louisiana's Chemical Association, stopped by my office this week to talk about the thousands of Louisianans who work in the chemical industry. We also discussed the USMCA trade deal. I believe that our state and our nation will greatly benefit from this new and improved deal, and every week a USMCA vote is delayed only costs us jobs, customers, and a stronger economy!

The Tragedy in Mandeville
I am praying for the officers and first responders involved in the Mandeville vehicle chase and shooting. My prayers go out to the family of the police officer who was killed in the line of duty. We must never forget that police officers selflessly risk their lives every single day to ensure our safety, security, and peace of mind. This is a terrible tragedy for our community.
