Dear John,
Hi, I’m Serisha, Amnesty International’s Youth Fellow in Canada. I’ve never written to you before, but I’m excited to get the chance to connect with you today.
Young people around the world disproportionately face violence and persecution. John, we’re also the changemakers — the ones leading the charge against repression, systemic racism, and climate injustice, working together for a better world.
So, my goal as an Amnesty Fellow is to create more programming for young people and engage them more deeply in Amnesty’s work.
I’m excited to advocate for radical change alongside you, John, as we work to centre young people in our shared mission and advance our diverse perspectives, ideas and concerns.
